Advantages and disadvantages
Generous ultra all-inclusive package, especially when it comes to alcohol — everything’s included with no hidden fees.
Delicious cuisine — wide variety of dishes at both the buffet and a la carte restaurants.
Large, lush island with vibrant nature, including its own “Maldivian forest” perfect for walks.
Lovely swimming area — lagoon by the main pool, with a bar and snacks right nearby.
Instagrammable Haali bar on the beach—great cocktails and the perfect spot for sunsets.
Spacious grounds — plenty of room to roam and lots of greenery.
The villas are very close to each other, lacking the sense of seclusion you’d expect from the classic Maldives experience.
The shoreline is restricted by stone breakwaters, so swimming is only possible in designated “pools” between them.
Strong currents beyond the swimming zone make a life vest and fins a must.
The villas don’t quite have that “Maldivian” vibe — modern white square bungalows with a minimalist design.
The rooms are small but bright and comfortable.
The grounds aren’t always spotless, with minor cleaning oversights.
There are a lot of mosquitoes, especially after rain or when walking in the green areas.
The service is “decent” but not remarkable — everything works, but there’s no special attention to detail.
The reef isn’t the most impressive — corals are partially dead, and the underwater world is moderately interesting.
